Spring Energized Seals

A Spring Energized Seal (SES) consists of a polymer jacket and a metallic spring. The spring provides a consistent load throughout the circumference of the jacket thereby creating a leak-tight seal to hardware. System pressure creates an additional force which further accentuates sealing.

SES are perfect for challenging applications such as cryogenics or exposure to aggressive chemicals. Equipment possibilities include reciprocating pumps, engineered valves, swivel systems, and others. SES are precision machined to meet hardware requirements thereby providing optimal equipment performance.
