- Graphite PTFE Braided Packing
Chesterton 1830 is an advanced combination of graphite and expanded PTFE in a single filament yarn packing designed to rigid specifications. It is well-suited for use in pumps, valves, agitators, mixers, and other rotating equipment. The PTFE resin is combined with graphite and lubricants using the latest technologies, resulting in a high-quality yarn filament. Due to the unique characteristics of this packing it is gentle on the shaft/sleeves, while still being pliable and conforming to adjust to shaft/sleeve and stuffing box irregularities.
